Not many people have seen the dragon race. Ancient texts mention a tribe of dragon hybrids with invincible strength and the wisdom of the creator. Legend has it that their ancestors were mysterious creatures. To adapt to the new environment, they evolved to resemble the form of humans. For them, knowledge is everything.
Despite having the humanoid form and possessing the unique magic allowing them to transform into the opponent’s shape, the Dragon race still has its own unique feature of hard, impenetrable scales covering vulnerable body parts such as the front chest, front abdomen and the back.
To soften the thorny body, they wear light and soft clothes (monk). Dragonborn are divided into 5 sub-branches controlling different elements: water, fire, air, ice and earth. They built a temple to tribute the ancestors who discovered the manipulation techniques of these elements and to unite the entire race.
Dragonborn are a noble race. They always consider themselves prime beings, with knowledge and strength superior to anyone else. They do not hate any species but always keep themselves neutral in all conflicts and disputes. They despise trivial disputes between the races, especially between the Orcs and Humans. They attach great importance to their responsibility to protect. Most of the Dragonborn stay at Edinburgh Castle to protect the magic crystal and the god’s treasures.
Part of the dragonborn live among humans in Nevergate and several families were formed between the two races. Although not violating any precepts, the proud noble Dragonborn always show contempt for these types of emotional connection. The mixed-race children are not recognized in the group nor allowed to return to attend the holy masses.
The Dragonborn have a holy mass every 10 years to commemorate their origin. On this day, all members of the race must return to Edinburgh Castle, no excuse for absence is accepted. During the mass, the treasures of the gods protected by the Dragonborn will be displayed for all members to pay their respects. These are rare opportunities for those wanting to steal God’s treasures to take advantage.
