1. One of Faraland’s goals is to create “dream jobs” and to achieve this, one of the prerequisites is that players can earn a steady income from the game. Did Faraland have a plan for this? If so, can you share a little bit?

Answer: Turning Faraland into “Dream jobs” has always been the desire of developers from the very beginning. We had a vision and plan to build the $FARA token into a true “stable” token. To do that, we must have a plan for players to stick with the project, holding tokens for a long time. Building an ecosystem for Faraland is a must to fulfill that mission, as all projects in the ecosystem provide enough benefits and incentives for token holders.

Regarding whether the player can earn from the game, it certainly can. But Faraland does not focus on attracting players by many token rewards, playing only a few days to break even. The truth is that these projects can only operate for a short time because there are problems with the game’s financial system. In fact, overusing token rewards is not a good idea for the “health” of the project. We plan to build a special earning mechanism for Faraland, players will be able to receive diverse rewards such as: Gem ($FARA token), tokens of partner projects, Gold (in-game currency), Soul Stone (can be sold on the marketplace), material, equipment (rarity level can be Legend or Mythical with special quests). The direct reward of $FARA tokens will only be available to those who achieve high rank in PvP ranking or defeat a powerful Boss in PvE, which will increase the demand for item and material upgrades. Therefore, players with little capital can trade in-game items for profit, with a crafting item system and diverse careers.

We are building a world that helps people trade safely, just like in real life. Therefore, earning more or less depends on each person’ ability. For example, if you are good at playing games, you can make money from building strong line-ups to battle. In the near future, we will launch another profitable “function” for players, which is the “Costume Design” contest for Faraland. The most beautiful and voted costumes by the community will appear in Gacha. The designer of this costume will receive a part of the profit in that gacha season. Sounds interesting, right?

2. Does Faraland intend to create a product that directly competes with traditional games?

Answer: In the future, when Faraland fully upgrades the gameplay mechanics and the game balance, we will develop an eSport version for Faraland. This version simply uses skills and tactics to win, serving the tournaments that Faraland will organize. It’s not about the competition with the traditional games, we just want to add a competitive mode to make Faraland an eSport. But in the near future, our focus is the development of Faraland and its ecosystem.

3. Is Faraland’s constant stats update the team’s intention or is there a problem with the balancing process? Will the team continue to update equipment stats? And why does the update have no update logs for everyone to follow while it greatly affects the players?

Answer: During Faraland’s development phase or other famous games’, balancing and adjusting stats is a common practice. DotA 2 and League of legends are examples. Besides balancing, adjusting stats as well as updating skills can help the game become more attractive to players. All these changes are common in a game. After the game’s official launch, we will have a Changelog for every event.

4. Will auto battle mode be removed after the December update? If possible, can Faraland team keep this mode so that those who don’t have much time can choose “skip battle” mode?

Answer: We will keep the “auto battle” mode as it is quite useful in some cases. However, this mode has the following disadvantage: more blood is needed when in battle. The “Skip battle” function can also be added, as Faraland is a self-coding game, all functions can be added or removed.

5. In the official text game, is it possible to adjust so that ranged units (using bows, spells) take less hit than melee units? In the test game version, the hit was the same for both, leading to a reduction in the game’s logic.

Answer: The text game is a shortened version. When the full version with combat system is released, the auto battle mode like the current text game is still the same. Its advantage is that it takes less time to play, but the disadvantage is that ranged heroes need more HP.

6. Can the team add UI for players to see the stats of the opponents (other players and monsters) to better develop a strategy? In addition, it is nice if you can tell more about the damage formula for players to understand more about the mechanics of the game.

Answer: Knowing the opponent’s information is a great advantage; therefore, it may lead to the reduction in the game’s attractiveness. When PvP mode is on, we will probably hide all bonus stats from Hero’s items on the market to ensure fairness.

7. Is Faraland going to be released on a major mainstream platform like Epicgames for promotion?

Answer: Faraland’s marketing plan has been carefully prepared and everything is on track. Details cannot be shared at the moment. However, we can guarantee that Marketing aspect is our priority.

8. For the DAO vote feature, can players have the right to create a pool to get opinions or can it only come from the developers?

Answer: Players will have the right to Vote, and pool creation is from developers. However, the opinions and wishes of Gamers are always collected via multiple platforms. So don’t hesitate to share your thoughts with us, constructive comments and suggestions will be applied to make Faraland better.

9. In the text game, is there a guild feature? Besides being a place for players to gather, which other functions & potential does the guild have?

Answer: Guild feature will not be released on Expedition launch, but will be updated in the near future. Guild function can be: Guild Ranking, War Guild, Citadel Building, regular rewards for top Guilds,.. If you have any suggestions for guild functionality, there will be a form for you to fill in.
