Dark shadows are the sinful creatures of the world. They could be humans engulfed with greed and sins, or fallen angels who seriously violated the precepts and refused to repent, thus, were turned into demons. They can be of any creatures — those who crave Angels’ power but are repelled by their spells. They form a clan with some distinct features, many of them also creep in the races. All Demons need is a little of moral degeneration, a little of cruelty, then Demons are ready to turn those creatures into mere minions in an instant.
